Drawing Sync

Download Drawing Sync from the Autodesk Store at Autodesk App Store (AutoCAD).

What can I do with Drawing Sync?

Create DWP Drawing Patch files
DWP files detail changes that you have made to your drawings. Objects that are updated, deleted, or added are listed in drawing exchange format.
Drawing patches can be created for your current drawing session, your previous save, or from drawing history.

Import DWPs
Add entities from drawing patch files into your drawing. Entities that are added (appended) in the patch can be shared and imported by others.

Drawing file history
Track project folders in a local repository (version control). From History you can create patches or run AutoCAD's DWG Compare command to identify changes and resolve conflicts. TrueView (if installed) is supported to view earlier versions of your drawings quickly.

Sync Central
Drawing Sync works with a desktop connector to track file history for cloud projects. Make it easier to collaborate with others by maintaining a local repository (version control) for your cloud files. Each time you sync, your local repository is updated with the latest (either remotely published or your recently saved) cloud file. If no files are updated, the repository is not modified.

Working with Autodesk Desktop Connector, you can track projects hosted in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Fusion Team, and Autodesk Drive.

Resolve conflicts
Use Drawing Sync's merge feature to resolve after working offline in desktop connector and you see the message: Update File Failed: A conflict has occurred on this file. Use of this feature requires a drawing version history that includes a common ancestor (base).
